Frequently Asked

Questions

Where is the therapy room?

Access is from the FH car park on the Poole Road side; you will need your access card to enter.  Once  inside, go through the door on the right and you'll see the therapy room just inside on the left.

What shall I wear/bring?

For sports/remedial treatments it's best to wear shorts if you need your legs treated. For the upper-body you will need to remove clothing, however please note that any areas not being worked on will remain covered.  You will have access to the shower/changing facilities should you need them. Please arrive early to get changed.
For seated acupressure you won't need to remove any clothing but please wear something comfortable.

Will I get covered in massage oil?

For sports/remedial massage I use a liquid wax which isn't as oily as some mediums, and I will wipe off as much as I can after the treatment. You have access to the shower/changing facilities should you wish to shower afterwards, however it's not usually needed.
For seated acupressure no oil/wax is used.

How will I pay for my treatment?

Fees are payable via bank transfer in advance or on the day of your appointment. Bank details are provided when making your booking.

What if I need to amend/cancel my appointment?

I do understand plans change so it is absolutely fine to amend your appointment, I just ask that you give me 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged.  You can amend your appointment via a link in your confirmation email or just send me a message.

Can I book an appointment outside of LV?

Absolutely! If you aren't in the office on the days I'm in, or you would rather have your treatment in my therapy room in Moordown, please email me to arrange a booking. Please note I offer LV staff a 10% discount off all my service rates.  I can also offer treatments in your own home should this be preferable.
